Trevor has been fishing since his 5th birthday, quite a long time ago!
Since then, he has fished in many parts of Ireland and a few overseas locations for salmon, trout, sea trout and grayling… with occasional success.
He fishes mainly in the west and north west of Ireland including Loughs Melvin Conn, Erne and Corrib with salmon fishing mainly on the Moy, the Mourne and later in the year the Sixmilewater for dollaghan . He also enjoys chasing rainbows with dry flies at Straid Fishery in Co. Antrim.
He has been tying flies for over 40 years. He is an Advanced member of the Association of Professional Game Angling Instructors Ireland and is the Secretary of the Association.
He runs fly tying classes at the Straid Fishery and demonstrates at a number of angling shows. He has a particular interest in introducing newcomers to fly dressing.
