Advanced Single Handed and Double Handed Instructor
John was a founding member of APGAI Ireland and was instrumental in progressing the Double Handed aspect of instruction in the early days of the Association. He was delighted to later be elected as President of APGAI Ireland, an honour which he treasured until his passing.
Originally from Carrickfergus, John moved to Ballyduff, Co. Waterford where he offered casting tuition for beginners to advanced anglers and indeed mentored several of APGAI Ireland’s present-day top Instructors prior to their assessment for entry to the Association, all of whom speak highly of a great angler, a real gentleman and a superb Instructor.
